Barry Glick, Co-Founder and Chairman

Barry Glick is a visionary entrepreneur who has co-founded and led the early stage development of game-changing businesses in the Internet, location-based services and enterprise software fields.

Most recently, Barry was Vice President for Consumer Web, Mobile and Media Products at NAVTEQ Corp, acquired by Nokia in July, 2008 for $7B. Prior to NAVTEQ, Barry served as CEO of ObjectFX Inc., and was a co-founder of Acuity Mobile Inc and GeoCodex, LLC. From 2002 to 2004, Barry was the Chairman and CEO of Webraska Mobile Technologies, the LBS pioneer based in France. Barry co-founded GeoSysems Global Corp, later renamed MapQuest.com in 1994 and served as its CEO and Chairman, raising two rounds of venture capital. He oversaw the launch of MapQuest.com in 1996, the pioneering consumer and B2B mapping and directions web site. MapQuest went public in April 1999 with a market capitalization of $700 million. In June 2000, AOL purchased MapQuest in a stock deal valued at $1.1 billion.

Harry Niedzwiadek, Co-Founder and General Manager

Harry's career has been built upon his passion for science and technology. He has chosen the path of technology innovation and entreprenuership throughout his career.

As vice president and chief scientist, he helped grow Autometric Inc (1974-1994) into a thriving technology company that was purchased by Boeing. He started Image Matters LLC in 2001, serving as CEO and Chairman. He launched smartRealm in 2009 and has served on its board since. His numerous and varied innovations span the early years of digital analytical photogrammetry, geographic information systems, database, and web technologies. At smartRealm, his focus is to live out a long-held dream of building a truly "smart services" platform that will assist countless users in challenging situations with a level of heretofore not experienced actionable knowledge-on-demand.

Stephane Fellah, Chief Technologist

Stephane Fellah is the Chief Technologist of smartRealm LLC. He is the lead architect and resident wizard behind knowledgeSmarts, our flagship product. Stephane has 17 years of relevant experience, including 12 years in Semantic Web technologies, and 12 years in geospatial software development.

Prior to joining smartRealm, Mr. Fellah spent five years at Image Matters LLC where he conducted advanced research and development in geospatial semantics (smartRealm was a commercial spin-out of Image Matters.) While at Image Matters, he conceived, architected, designed and developed the award winning knowledgeSmarts product, a geo-social KaaS platform based upon Semantic Web technologies. His product won NGA's Innovations in Geospatial Intelligence Award, 2005. Prior to joining Image Matters LLC, Mr. Fellah worked on advanced product development at PCI Geomatics in Canada. He was PCI's Chief Web Architect and actively represented the company in all international standards development activities.
