kS Workbench
kS Workbench is a Web application that provides tools to collect, integrate, search, view, analyze and serve knowledge.
The main purpose of kS Workbench is to offer a workspace for a user or a user group to manage their enterprise Knowledge Center, consisting of knowledge datasets, vocabularies, SmartLens™, REST API endpoints and views.
kS Workbench is used in support of knowledge-enabled Web applications that exploit knowledgeSmarts' REST APIs, lenses and views.

kS Workbench provides a solution for creating and managing SmartLens so one can discover, search and access disparate data from a single access point and API. Data patterns can be detected, analyzed and visualized through the lenses. kS Workbench manages the lenses using the Lens Manager component, so they can be evaluated, shared and referenced.
kS Workbench also provides the ability to specify and deploy REST API endpoints to provide integrated, unified and simplified access to Knowledge-on-Demand through lenses. This facilitates rapid development of knowledge-enabled applications.
kS Workbench supports deployment of kS Domain Bundles, a pluggable package containing domain model definitions (ontology, rules, constraints), domain specific lenses, kS Model APIs, REST API specifications, views, widgets and knowledge-data mappings. An example of kS Domain Bundle is our SKOS Vocabulary Domain Bundle, which manages Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) Thesauri. This bundle contains the SKOS Model definition, SKOS Model API, SKOS Lenses, Widgets, and SKOS REST API.
Knowledge-On-Demand
Knowledge-On-Demand (KOD) Applications and Services enable searching, delivering, and presenting the right, timely business intelligence to the right users.
Space-time awareness is mandatory for effective KOD Applications and Services. Everything happens somewhere and at some time!
